M9 ballet school is a ballet contemporary training school, devoted to spreading the concept of ballet dance in Nigeria and taking it to a place of societal relevance and significance. This vision has been achieved to some degree. Located in a major oil producing state, where politics rule all corners, M9 Ballet School is a distinct light, giving many kids the opportunity to express themselves in something beyond the normal street dance. And this has given joy to both kids and parents. In many ways, M9 Ballet School has caused a different development in the oil state of Bayelsa.

The contemporary ballet style taught in M9 Ballet School is called M9 Ballet. M9 Ballet is very creative as it utilizes some elements of classical ballet, acro dance, gymnastics and any compartable modern dance technique.

Started in 2010, December 7th. In four years, over five thousand students have been trained and many still under intensive training. Truly, M9 Ballet School is doing the unthinkable, as in looking back at ten-twenty years ago. Our dreams are bigger than us. That's why it's a dream. But by the time we wake up in five - ten years from now, our story of success will be written in the lives of all those who had the chance to pass through our doors.
